Air 360 is a rooftop bar conveniently located near Benh Thanh Market. The panoramic view of the city is nearly 360 degrees and absolutely beautiful in the evenings. Happy hour is a great deal - every day from 6pm to 9pm, all standard drinks and bar snacks are 69,000 each. The ambiance is relaxed until about 9 or 10pm when the bar becomes more of a nightclub setting (with a DJ, etc.).

Started by the Quan Ut Ut owners, Bia Craft Artisan Ales is a local brewery who makes and serves their own beer as well as other local Vietnamese beers. The bar is open-air, industrial garage-style, with plenty of fans to combat the muggy Saigon afternoons. Customers can order one of three sizes of the beers on tap, or they can order from a selection of bottled beers. The beers are tasty, and the atmosphere is relaxed but lively (on any afternoon or any evening). Bonus - they have a tasty food menu with a variety of fancy hot dogs, fries, and other goodies.

Similar in concept to Air 360 and Glow, Chill is an upscale, trendy rooftop bar with panoramic views of Saigon. The drinks are expensive and not particularly impressive, but happy hour is every day from 5.30pm to 8pm, and drinks are half price. Be sure to dress up for this one - Chill has a strict dress code, and take note that the DJ starts spinning/the bar becomes significantly louder, starting at around 10pm.
Rather than paying the entrance fee for the Bitexco Viewing Deck, might as well head straight to the Heli Bar where you can have a drink and listen to live music (usually from 5.30pm to 7.30pm). Eon 51 Heli Bar sits on the 51st floor of the famous Bitexco building and displays a 360 degree view of Saigon.
Glow Skybar is comparable to Air 360 and Chill, but it stands out for creating a zen atmosphere, filled with greenery and relaxed seating. The staff tends to be more laid back and accommodating than the other two. Drink prices are high, but happy hour runs from 5.30pm to 8pm. Though the drink/food menus are nothing to rave about, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the views are spectacular.
Malt has the feel of a cozy American dive bar, with games (darts and shuffle board) and a wide variety of speciality cocktails and locally and internationally crafted brews. The food menu is tasty, though the portions are quite small for the price. The atmosphere is relaxed and fun, and the bar stays open late.
The Social Club is the trendy rooftop bar at the Hotel des Arts MGallery. Connected by a glass floor walkway to Shri Restaurant, the Social Club has a fantastic view of Saigon, and two bars - one in the pool, and one outside of the pool. The high-priced drinks are worth the views and the ambiance. A DJ starts spinning later in the evening, for those looking for a livlier atmosphere.
Also a delicious, fine-dining restaurant, Xu includes a trendy lounge and large bar complete with comfy couches and chairs. Drink menu is impressive, the staff is professional, and customers even receive free iced water. The walls are filled with portraits of various famous individuals, like Ho Chi Minh and U.S. presidents. Take note, Xu enforces a dress code, and a DJ starts spinning later in the evening, changing the vibe from lounge-like to nightclub-like.
